Dr Vanessa CRAWFORD is a Consultant Psychiatrist. She qualified in medicine at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, University of London (1988). She has worked in the areas of HIV and addiction psychiatry since her medical student days. She has been a Clinical Director for the East London NHS Foundation Trust addiction services and continues to work with the HIV service at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Dr Crawford joined the Gender Identity Clinic team in July 2016 and has taken on the role of clinical lead for patient involvement.
