GIC on Greyhound RoadThe clinic is at the junction of Greyhound Road and Fulham Palace Road. The main entrance is on Greyhound Road, between the Sainsbury's Local and Greyhound Newsagents.

Please ring the intercom and speak to the receptionist to be let into the building.

The clinic is easily accessible by most means of transport. London roads can be very busy so you should allow plenty of time to get to your appointment. Public transport may be a better alternative.

London Underground (tube)

  • Hammersmith – District and Piccadilly lines (15 mins walk)
  • Barons court – District and Piccadilly lines (10 mins walk)

From Hammersmith Broadway, buses 211, 220, 295 and 190 travel down Fulham Palace Road stopping close by Charing Cross Hospital, a short walk away from the GIC.

By car

Greyhound Road (where the entrance is located) is most easily accessible from Fulham Palace Road.

The clinic does not have its own parking spaces. There are pay and display parking bays on Greyhound Road and other local streets. There are also parking spaces at the nearby Charing Cross Hospital, although these are more expensive. You may need to have a blood test at Charing Cross Hospital immediately after your appointment so please bring sufficient change to pay for extra parking time.

The pay and display machines do not accept cards, but parking can be paid for with mobile payments.

Claiming for expenses

If you are on Jobseekers Allowance or Income Support, you may be able to claim travel expenses for attending the clinic, provided you have travelled by the cheapest means of transport possible. To claim this, you’ll need to bring proof of your benefits entitlement.

Wheelchair access

The clinic building has full disability access, although the lift cannot accommodate any wheelchair wider than standard size. Please let us know if this is likely to be a problem – an appointment can then be arranged on the ground floor level in premises nearby.
