Dr Charlotte Whiteley, Counselling Psychologist

Dr Charlotte WHITELEY is a Counselling Psychologist who completed her doctoral training in psychotherapeutic and counselling psychology at the University of Surrey. She has carried out research into stigma, shame and minority stress within marginalised groups. Charlie is trained in a number of psychological modalities to help clients make sense of their experiences. She often uses mindfulness and compassion in her practice. At the GIC, Charlie sees clients for individual therapy, group psychotherapy and assessment appointments. Prior to working at the CIG, she worked in a number of NHS and third sector services.
