From midnight on Friday 5 January to 8pm Sunday 14 January, Thames Water will be carrying out roadworks on Fulham Palace Road. This may affect your journey to the Gender Identity Clinic.

There will be no access to Fulham Palace Road southbound at its junction with Hammersmith Roundabout. Northbound traffic will still be able to access Fulham Palace Road – however, the northbound bus lane on Fulham Palace Road, which is north of the junction with Chancellor’s Road, will be closed. Temporary traffic lights will be in place. The signed traffic diversion will be via Hammersmith Roundabout, A4 Talgarth Road, North End Road, Lillie Road, and Fulham Palace Road.

Please plan your journey to allow for extra travel time and using alternative routes. Live traffic news can be found on the Transport for London website at, and on their Twitter at @TFLTrafficNews.

During the closure, bus stop ‘N’ on Fulham Palace road will be out of service. A notice with further information will be available at the stop. The northbound bus lane on Fulham Palace Road will also be suspended between Chancellor’s Road and Hammersmith Roundabout. Journeys may take longer on the following roots:

The footpaths and pedestrian crossings will be kept open wherever possible. There will be signs indicating all the temporary changes.
