Jae Collado joined the GIC in May 2022 as a Specialist Nurse in Endocrinology. She has previously worked as an Oncology Nurse in St Bartholomew’s Hospital where she became competent and qualified to deliver Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) to patients with cancer. She has a background in different areas of oncology such as medical oncology and radiation, haematologic, thoracic, gynaecologic, urologic, neuro-oncology, and endocrine. She has always been a supporter and advocate of LGBTQIA+ rights, gender diversity and equality. She hopes to eventually gained her Independent Nurse Prescriber qualification and become a member of the British Association of Gender Identity Specialists (BAGIS).
