Dr Laura Hennessy-Grainger is training to be a Gender Identity Specialist. She undertook undergraduate medical degree at Brighton and Sussex Medical School. Following graduation in 2019 Laura worked at Southmead Hospital in Bristol and Weston General Hospital. She is currently undertaking a Post Graduate Certificate in Medical Education through Cardiff University. She has a research interest in gender, dyslexia and weight-stigma. She hopes to continue working at the GIC after completely GP training.
