Dr Ellen Kay is a trainee Gender Identity Specialist. She studied medicine at the University of Bristol and completed her foundation programme in and around Birmingham. Her interest in Gender Identity began with a period of study leave spent observing clinicians at the GIC during her foundation programme and since then she has been passionate about pursuing a career in this field. She plans to complete GP training as well as continuing training at the GIC.
