Carys Bracken, Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

Carys BRACKEN is a registered speech and language therapist  working at the London Gender Identity Clinic as a specialist in trans and gender diverse voice and communication, joining the team in December 2017. Carys graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in Clinical Language Sciences – Speech and Language Therapy in 2008. Since then she has worked in a range of community settings, supporting clients with communication and swallowing difficulties while developing a particular passion for and specialism in voice and stammering. She recently sat on  the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists’ review panel for the Trans and Gender-Diverse Voice and Communication Therapy Competency Framework for UK speech and language therapists.
